John E. Harding

Introduction

John Harding had the privilege of being the 2016 President of the Northern California Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. He earned his law degree from Golden Gate University in 1989 and has practiced family law in Northern California continually since that time. He represents clients through all phases of complex family law litigation before private judges and in public courts.

Mr. Harding is also a Fellow in the International Academy of Family Lawyers. He has been certified as a specialist in the practice of family law by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Practice areas include dissolution, litigation of prenuptial agreements, child custody and visitation, child and spousal support, property division, and enforcement actions. Mr. Harding is also a family law mediator and private judge.

Mr. Harding is a frequent presenter at family law conferences and seminars and has published several articles in the ACFLS Newsletter (the official publication of California’s Association of Certified Family Law Specialists) and the Family Law News (the official publication of the State Bar of California Family Law Section). He was the Chair of the AAML Northern California Chapter’s 36th Annual Family Law Symposium, and formerly taught the essentials of family law for online CLE provider Solo Practice University.

Mr. Harding carries a Martindale Hubbell AV Rating. He is listed in Best Lawyers, and he has been repeatedly named to the Northern California Super Lawyers list.
