Romy S. Taubman

Introduction

Ms. Taubman was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1993 and has focused solely on family law since 2008.  Ms. Taubman is certified as a Family Law Specialist by the State of California, Board of Legal Specialization.

Ms. Taubman received her B.A. in American Studies from Stanford in 1989, and then graduated Order of the Coif from Stanford in 1993.  After clerking for the Honorable Judge Mariana Pfaelzer in the United States District Court for the Central District of California, Ms. Taubman began in private practice as a corporate securities and mergers and acquisitions/public offerings attorney.

In 2008, Ms. Taubman transitioned from corporate law to family law.  Ms. Taubman’s legal background, involving complex business transactions, gives her added skills that she brings to the financial issues that arise in family law.

Ms. Taubman’s practice is wide ranging. She represents clients in litigated matters, serves as a mediation consultant, and is an experienced mediator.
