May 1- 3, 2020
Meritage Resort & Spa
The AAML Northern California’s upcoming 44th Annual Symposium cannot proceed as initially scheduled on May 1-3, 2020, due to the current COVID-19 health crisis.
We plan to provide the same high-quality program, Vision: A Family Law Case Study, next year at the Meritage Resort and Spa, on May 21-23, 2021.
We hope you stay safe and healthy! Please email the Executive Director, Jennifer Cass, at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
We have an exciting 3-day program focusing on 2020 Vision: A Family Law Case Study.
Daytime: Keynote speaker Leslie Morgan Steiner will be featured on Friday morning. We have a range of topics, including the psychology of representing clients, crossover criminal and family law issues, business income, financial planning, tax reform, and Hague custody issues. We will wrap up the last day covering substance use disorders, tracing, characterization, and apportionment to investment accounts, discovery, and business characterization.
Evening: We end the first day with a Welcome Reception on the Vineyard Terrace. You will not want to miss the Saturday night dinner event “Napa Nights” which will be held on the Vista Collina Resort lawn directly across from the Meritage. Enjoy some bocce ball, giant Jenga, and other games, along with red wine, white wine, and cocktail lounges.
