Sarah is a partner at Killingsworth Kendrick and a Certified Specialist in Family Law as certified by the California Board of Legal Specialization. Sarah's practice includes collaborative law, mediation, and consultations. Exclusively practicing family law since 1998, Sarah is an experienced and highly skilled mediator who brings 25 years of experience in complex litigation to her dispute resolution practice. Prior to forming Killingsworth Kendrick, Sarah practiced at Simborg Killingsworth for 16 years. Sarah started her family law career working with two of the most distinguished family law firms in the Bay Area: first as an associate at Diamond, Bennington & Simborg followed by three years at Whiting, Fallon & Ross in Walnut Creek.

Sarah authored an article on fiduciary duties entitled "New Disclosure Requirements: Too Much of a Good Thing?" (Contra Costa Lawyer, Vol. 15, No. 6, pp. 10-12, June 2002) as well as "2004 Family Law Recent Developments" (CEB Family Law Practice 23rd Annual Recent Developments Program Handbook, January 2005). Sarah was a speaker at the 2008 81st Annual California State Bar Association meeting for the program "Family Law Mediation: Practice Tips for Consulting Attorneys." She was a long-time trainer for the Northern California Mediation Center on the "Fundamentals of Family Law for Mediators and Therapists."

Sarah's professional life embodies a commitment to excellence in the practice of family law and to community service. Sarah served for 11 years on the Board of Directors of the Family and Children's Law Center in San Rafael, an agency that provides family law assistance to low-income families and children in Marin County. In addition to mentoring lawyers in the North Bay, she served as the chair of the Charitable Contributions committee for the Northern California Chapter of AAML, and is still a member of that committee.
