Join our distinguished panelists, Dr. Robert Kaufman and Rebekah Frye for an in-depth presentation and discussion of the unique issues in family law matters when there is a child with special needs. You will hear views from the perspectives of both mental health professionals and minor’s counsel.
Robert L. Kaufman PhD, ABPP is a clinical and forensic psychologist in independent practice in San Rafael, CA. He is board certified in forensic psychology and has worked in family law for over 30 years, providing a wide range of services, including child custody evaluations, mediation, parent coordination, work product review and expert witness testimony. His current focus is offering consultation to family law attorneys. A frequent presenter at national and international conferences, Dr. Kaufman has authored or co-authored journal articles and book chapters and also has provided training for family law attorneys, mental health professionals and bench officers.
Rebekah Frye began practicing Family Law in 1997 and was certified as a Family Law Specialist in 2008. She has been appointed by Santa Clara County judges as Minor’s Counsel in numerous cases and is highly dedicated to pursuing the best interests of my young clients. Ms. Frye has also been a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists, the Santa Clara Bar Association, the San Mateo County Bar Association, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
